The track and video inspired by Childish Gambino’s “This is America” which highlights injustices and racial bias as well, begins with a group of dancers donning shirts with NYS logos inscribed on them and is well orchestrated with the latest dance moves in the scene and great camera angles.

The video which appears to have been filmed at a basement of a popular hotel shows a woman who appears to be cutting vegetables before being gunned down as the footage commences.

“This is America dubbed ‘This is Kenya’ by @igizadancecrew is out Every Kenyan should purpose to watch it. It is quite unfortunate that despite having in place a well reasoned constitution, Kenya is still drowning in pools of corruption perpetrated by some government officials. The saddest bit is that ‘wanjiku’ is at the epitome of suffering. We as entertainers have not been spared, it’s such a pity. We need to stop corruption because it’s becoming a national culture” the group behind the music said.
