The annual Agricultural Show started in Nakuru ASK Showground on Tuesday 5th and is expected to continue until July 9.

Over 200 farmers have presented their farm products and livestock from various parts across the county which is an increase from last years 145 exhibitors. Over 150000 people are expected to attend the annual event.

Nakuru County Governor, Kinuthia Mbugua is expected to open officially the exhibition on Thursday 8.

The Kenya Agricultural Research and Livestock Organization (KALRO) will also be taking part in the show under its new name from what used to be the Kenya Agricultural Research Institute (KARI).

This year’s theme is ‘Enhancing technology in agriculture and industry for food security and national growth.’
