Nakuru is set be the next Silicon Valley after the entry of The Sarova Group hotels in the town.
The hotel chain has set foot in the rift valley based ‘Pink City’ with a Sh1 billion five-star hotel.
With the new venture-Sarova Woodlands, the group now has a total of nine properties in the country.
The 142-room facility is located near State House Nakuru a seeming one kilometre to the town’s central business district (CBD).
A statement on the Sarova website states that guests will pay between Sh14, 000 and Sh50, 000 per night at the facility. The said rates are applicable until September 30.
Already in the country are Sarova Stanley and the Sarova Panafric in Nairobi, the Sarova Whitesands Beach Resort & Spa in Mombasa and Sarova Mara Camp in the Maasai Mara Game Reserve serving hospitality services to local and foreign guests.
