A businessman on Monday denied operating an agro vet without a license and was released on a Sh30,000 bond with surety of a similar amount by a Nakuru court.
Titus Nderituwho appeared before Senior Principal Magistrate Liz Gicheha was charged with unlawfully practicing veterinary medicine without a permit from the Kenya Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
The court heard that the accused was found operating the unlawful business on May 22 at Kampi ya Moto area in Rongai sub-county.
The accused further denied charges of selling unregistered drugs without a license from the drugs watchdog.
The prosecution told the court that officials from the Pharmacy and Poisons Board intercepted the consignment of the unregistered drugs at the premises of the accused.
Hearing of the case was set for July 7.
