Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui has called on County Executive Committee members of his government to ensure they deliver quality work to residents.

Speaking on Wednesday afternoon during the swearing in ceremony, Kinyanjui said each CeC is in office to serve the people.

“I want to congratulate all the CECs who have sailed through and assure you of my support in delivering to the people of Nakuru,” he said.

Those sworn in are Engineer Lucy Wanjiku Kariuki (Lands, Housing and Physical Planning), Halima Gababa Abdulahi (Women, Youth, Culture, Gender, Sports and Social Services), Lawrence Mwangangi Mwania (Public Service, Training and Devolution) and Joseph Wainaina Kiuna (Finance and Economic Planning).

Others are Eng Joseph Irungu Mburu (Infrastructure), Immaculate Njuthe Maina (Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Cooperatives), Dr Jonah Manjari Mwangi (Health Services), Raymond Komen Kimutai (Education, ICT and e-Government), Engineer Festus Ng’eno (Water, Environment, Energy and Natural Resources) and Dr Peter Evans Kiplangat  (Trade, Industry, Marketing and Tourism).

The governor said it is time for every person to make Nakuru the dream city.

“I want to call upon the CECs and everyone that let us work together to ensure this noble achievement not only for Nakuru city but to be the best across the country and I believe this will be achieved,” said Governor Lee.

The ceremony was also attended by among others Nakuru Deputy Governor Dr.Erick Korir, Nakuru County Assembly Majority leader Stanley Karanja and Nakuru Business community.
