Speaking on Sunday during mass to celebrate 10 years since the establishment of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Parish in Lare in Njoro sub-county, Bishop Maurice Muhatia Makumba of the Catholic Diocese of Nakuru said Kenyans are now tired of empty promises made by politicians during campaigns.

“We all need good leaders who have integrity and ready to serve Kenyans not leaders who have a tendency of giving empty promises that cannot be fulfilled at any given time. Some of them brag that they have developed roads yet they have only thrown some two or three stones on the road,”said the clergy.
