The County government of Nakuru will not issue licenses for any Cord meetings in the County.

Governor Kinuthia Mbugua spoke on Saturday where he said that they will not entertain any CORD related rallies in the county 

 Kinuthia who was accompanied by his Deputy Joseph Rutto, Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri warned that, Nakuru leadership will not allow any form of protests or demonstrations. He instructed the county authorities not to issue any licences to the CORD affiliate leaders seeking to hold rallies in the county.

The governor said that Nakuru County is a haven of peace and his administration will not sit down and watch as the county “goes on fire”.

“We will deal with demonstrators as leaders and residents. Police should keep off as we will take charge to protect people and their businesses,” he said.
