Nakuru County Deputy Governor Joseph Ruto has called on investors to invest in the county, saying that there is a conducive environment for investments.
Ruto argued that the existence of many industries in the county is an evidence that the county government is 'hospitable' to investors and their investments.
"As a county government, we are committed to creating and providing a conducive environment to all businesspersons who may want to set their investments in this county,” said Ruto.
At the same time, the Deputy Governor revealed that the county government is opening an industrial park in Mai-Mahiu, where various industries will be set up.
As a result, he called investors to embrace the opportunity and set up their businesses there.
"As an investor you just need to approach us as the county government and you can be sure of our support,” he added.
He also indicated that the county has overtaken Mombasa County in conferencing, where he asked those with conferences to consider the county.
Ruto was speaking in Naivasha during the commissioning of a Keroche Breweries beer plant, where he applauded the brewer for bringing major investment in the county.
