The Lands Committee comprising 17 members, under the chairmanship of Hells Gate MCA Jonathan Warothe, had vetted  7 nominees  whose names were forwarded to the Assembly Speaker through the County Executive Member for Lands  pursuant to the National Land Commission Act.

The report tabled by MCA Warothe recommended the appointment of Rose Wanjiru, Reuben Korir, Prengei Sitienei and Gaciku Kang’ari as members of the Land Management Board while Peter Oira, Elizabeth Njambi and Dorothy Aswan were rejected.
