A Nakuru County officer has been accused of impregnating a class eight pupil, whom he has been ‘dating’ for two years now.
The Keringet Boarding Primary School pupil is six months pregnant, and speaking to the press on Wednesday revealed how the officer has been paying here Sh50 whenever he had a sexual ordeal with her.
She further added that the officer, who works at Kuresoi sub-county headquarters also bought her a SIM card and a mobile phone for use whenever he needed her.
According to the pupil, the officer used to pick and drop her using the county government vehicle when her guardians were away during holidays.
Her headteacher, Jane Songok said the minor has been living with her aunt since her mother died five years ago, and that a catholic nun based in Kisumu has been paying school fees for the girl and her five siblings.
The officer allegedly tried to bribe a member of the school board Sh50,000 for silence on the matter but the deal flopped.
“I reported the matter to the education office and we want serious action taken against the man," said the headteacher.
“The officer's children are in good schools yet he takes advantage of his government job and vehicle to spoil vulnerable minors, I will not rest until police take firm action against him," she said.
