The County Government of Nakuru has collaborated with the Cyber School Technology Solutions in a bid to introduce e-learning technology in the schools around the county.

Speaking in his office on Wednesday during the presentation of the program by the group in his office, Governor Kinuthia Mbugua hailed the project as key in raising the standards of teaching in schools.

"I am sure that this program will play a role in improving the education standards of our county," said Mbugua.

According to the Founder and CEO of the Group Mr. Palas Chanda, the program is also set to make teaching and learning in schools easier.

"We want all the teachers to go into classrooms more empowered to ensure the whole learning process is more fruitful," Chanda said.

The team did a presentation of an e-learning program that has been proposed by the Cyber School Technology Solutions to be utilized in 20 to 30 schools around Nakuru County.

The Cyber School technology solutions use digital learning in sciences and mathematics and have so far introduced the e-learning technology to 80 schools across the country.
