Speaking on Wednesday at Bondeni Dispensary during a community score card on health service delivery, the facility's Board Chairman Francis Shinali said it is the work of the Government to ensure quality services to the people as enshrined in the constitution.

"We all know that the Constitution stipulates that the Government has a duty to ensure quality health services to the people and I hereby appeal to the county Government of Nakuru to ensure not only Bondeni Dispensary but all health facilities are equipped," he said.

Shinali also called on the residents to ensure they play their responsibility of highlighting the challenges facing community dispensaries within Nakuru County.

His sentiments were echoed by Wilkister Akinyi from Centre for Enhancing Democracy and Good Governance CEDGG who said hHealth sector is crucial for development in the county and nation at large and therefore should be given priority.

She also urged more members to volunteer and join the Community Score Card, a mechanism for monitoring service delivery in various sectors.
