News that President Uhuru Kenyatta has landed at the Lanet Military Academy in Nakuru has excited residents.
Already, residents have started lining up along roads in the county with hopes that they will catch a glimpse of the man they adore.
Though there are no official reports on whether Uhuru will tour Nakuru town after he presides over the passing out of cadets at Lanet, residents are already camping at the Mburu-Gichua Roundabout spot hoping the president will visit the town and address them.
Also, there are groups of supporters with Jubilee branded materials sitting under trees a few metres from Nakuru State House.
A field close to the State House, where the chopper carrying the president usually touches down at when visiting the Nakuru home, has also been polished.
"We love him so much. We also know he loves us. We expect he will come to tell us something," John Maina Karu, a resident, told this writer.
Karu's feeling is what many residents are nursing.
"Kamwana must come to just talk to us, even if it is just to tell us three words," Eldah Nyangecu said.
