Here re Nakuru's estates with the most funny names;
1. Shauri Yako
The rather tiny estate sits to the southeastern end of the lakeside town.
The Nakuru county government-owned estate consists mostly of bedsitters, initially meant to house the now defunct Nakuru Municipal Council workers.
It is not however clear how the name came to be but the estate brags of one of the funniest name tags in the entire county.
2. Ponda Mali
Ponda Mali boasts of a cool name, a swahili name loosely translating to "enjoy your wealth".

Pondaa as it is known by residents, is a very busy locality equipped with both a matatu terminal and a market.
3. Soko Mjinga
The informal open air market cum residential area is located in Nakuru town East constituency.
Like all other slums, Soko Mjinga is characterized by disorganization and informal housinghousing structures.
