The Kenya National Chambers of Commerce Nakuru Chapter chairman Kamau Njuguna has called on more investors in the Hotel Industry to Invest in Nakuru County following high flow of both local and international tourists for the festive season in the fastest growing county.
Njuguna observed that there is a shortage of accommodation in Nakuru and up to 70% of hotels have been booked for team buildings; conferencing and boarding that will highly improve economy of the county
‘‘With more investors in the county, the will economy will drastically improve as the construction of dual carriage Road Connecting Nairobi to Nakuru also affects transport,” said Njuguna
This comes weeks after thousands of Flamingos started to flock back to lake Nakuru national park, a move that the park’s Senior Warden Dickson Ritan said will increase the number of tourists in the County
He said the park is currently receiving an average of 1200 tourists daily, a significant increase from the recent numbers.
