A family in Nakuru is mourning their kin who was killed at the Kasarani stadium on November 28 during the swearing-in of President Uhuru Kenyatta.

George Ngigi Kiburi, died after an ecstatic crowd of supporters degenarated into chaos and fracas.

The supporters were reportedly trying to force there way into Kasarani when anti-riot police were called and pounced on the supporters with teargas and batons.

Ngigi was among President Uhuru Kenyatta's diehard supporters who had been ferried by politicians to Kasarani during the event.

A search for him, after he failed to return with the other group, led to the discovery of his body at the City Mortuary.

Burial plans for the deceased are ongoing at their Arahuka home in Kabazi ward, Subukia.

Area MCA said a post mortem will be done before the body is transferred to Nakuru.
