The member, Halima Gababa, said already 81 street kids were rounded up and have been placed in children homes.

Gababa said the children were found on the streets of Nakuru on February 22 and February 27, 2018.

They were taken through a court process and placed in different homes, she said.

Among the homes are SCANN, Bedesta, Sunshine and Samaritan children homes.

Some of the children who know their homes and parents will also be reunited with their families according to Mr Gababa.

There have been complaints over the increased number of street kids and family in the town.
