Gilani’s Supermarket, Nakuru branch, has been on the receiving end after customers accused its cashiers of being rude.
Disgruntled customers took to social media accusing the supermarket of employing graduates who lack skills in customer care service.
"Cashiers at the supermarket are form four leavers waiting to join campus. They don't care about the profit of the supermarket. All they need is money to buy clothes and a few coins to go raving," Terry Waitiri said.
"It’s true. Cashiers in Gilani’s are just too rude. They will tell you anything they feel like. She's serving you and at the same time talking to the next colleague....too rude," added Amunga Sophie.
Speaking to this writer via phone, Mr. Zahir Gilani, one of the directors of the supermarket has asked all customers to report to the supervisors immediately if a cashier is rude to them so that the appropriate action can be taken.
