According to her parent, the girl was playing at their home in Bondeni slum when three people, a woman and two men, grabbed her into a waiting car and sped off.

It is not clear what transpired thereafter, but she was later left for the dead at Ndarugu.

Ndung'u Nyoro, a philanthropist helping raise medical fee for the girl, said the attackers used knives to rip off the girls intestines.

“While seated on a stone two men and a woman walked towards her, grabbed her towards a vehicle parked nearby as they covered her mouth. She was blindfolded, forced to ingest something and became unconscious as they sped off. The kidnappers did the unthinkable. Armed with knives, they made three deep cuts in her stomach spilling out the intestines," Nyoro said.

The 9-year-old undergone a corrective surgery at Mediheal hospital in Nakuru and her intestines re-fixed.

Parts of her intestines were, however, severely damaged they had to be cut off, Nyoro said.

He called on well wishers to help raise the girl's bill which  has escalated to shillings 600,000 and and still counting.

Her mother, who is a hawker at Nakuru stage, urged well wishers to come to her rescue.
