Speaking on Friday during the official opening of a new market in Mai Mahiu Ward in Naivasha Sub County, Mbugua urged leaders to work together for the sake of development.

“We all have our specific jobs which we were given by people. We need to be busy serving them,” said Mbugua.

The governor was speaking while commissioning a new 12 bed maternity wing at the Mai Mahiu Health Centre.

He also confirmed that through his government, close to ten projects will be launched weekly through the help of MCAs.

“We are working round the clock to bring all the services to wananchi. The county government is implementing more than ten projects in a week through the Members of the County Assembly (MCA) to make sure that all services are brought closer to the people,” said Mbugua.

The market, he said, will go a long way in providing a solution to the traders who have been selling their goods in the scorching sun for years.

“We have built the market but it is upon you to be the watch dogs to ensure that it remains up to standards and the vandalism is kept at bay,” said Mbugua.
