Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui is now in trouble after Nakuru West MP Smauel Arama sued him with discrimination.

The case which was filed at the Labour and Employment Relations Court, through his lawyer Juma Nyagaka, Arama has accused the governor of failing to include minority groups in his list of nominees."Kisii's ,Luhyas and Luos have not been given a position in the recent list by the governor. It is unfair because these tribes are representive of the county," read part of Arama's affidavit.Arama urged the court to stop the county assembly and the governor from acting on the list. The MP lamented that Nakuru is a cosmopolitan county that requires complete representation at the county government.Kinyanjui however said the list he unveiled wastin in Nakuru's best interest and promised to consider other tribes in the remaining positions. The case is scheduled to be heard on October 19.
