The voluptuous Kenyan songstress, Nyambura Mwangi otherwise known as Avril, has been honored by the County government of Nakuru for her exemplary work and outstanding contribution in music industry.
Office of the Governor of Nakuru County, through the Deputy Governor Erick Korir and Minister of Trade, industrialization, Marketing and Tourism, Dr. Ketyenya honored the sassy artist by presenting her with a certificate of recognition.
Avril has been consistent and contributed largely in music not only in Nakuru county but to the whole country.
Through her Instagram handle, Avril shared her excitement with her fans and Kenyans.
“Today marked a day that really made me feel extremely humbled. I was invited to the Office of the Governor Nakuru county to receive a Certificate of Recognition for my participation in the music industry by the county that brought me up. I was granted audience with the Deputy Governor Korir and Min. of Trade, Industrialization, Marketing and Tourism’s Dr. Ketyenya. We had a lovely chat…can’t wait to share more soon. I couldn't have shared the day with anyone better,” said the bountiful songstress through her Instagram page.
With the recognition, the ‘Hello baby’ hitmaker becomes one of the few Kenyan female artists to be honored for their contribution in the country through different industries.
