All domestic and international tourists in Nakuru and other parts of the Rift Valley have been assured of their security during the December festive season.
Rift Valley regional coordinator Wanyama Musiambo on Monday said that the government had put all measures in place to peace on the region.
Speaking in Nakuru Town, Musiambo added that the government had prioritized hotels and lodges in the region and accorded them maximum securitu to ensure safety.
"All tourism sites, hotels and lodges are secure.I urge tourists to visit their favourite places," he said.
The Rift Valley is home to several tourists attractions sites including Lake Nakuru National Park, Lake Naivasha, the Subukia shrine, Mount Longonot, Lake Elementaita, Menengai crator among others.
