It was in Nakuru where the Jubilee coalition was born when Uhuru's TNA and Ruto's URP merged at Afraha Stadium.

Nakuru was identified as the second county to vote overwhelming for Jubilee after Kiambu.

During his two-day tour of the county last week, the President Uhuru Kenyatta brought a basketful of goodies among them an airport, roads, state of the art medical equipment at Nakuru Level Five Hospital, 100 million for each county for starting technical training institutions among others.

"We have invested billions of shillings in the Nakuru economy as we deliver on the pledges we made at Afraha Stadium," he said.

Leaders from the county also swore their support saying they are behind the Jubilee government and the new outfit, JAP.

"We have been waiting eagerly for your visit in Nakuru and we are grateful for finally you've come, not empty handed, but with numerous gifts. We are very much behind you and your deputy", said Nakuru Town East MP, David Gikaria.

The President took his time to forge unity and asking people to support JAP as he and his deputy work to unite all Kenyans to avoid what happened in 2007/8.
