There was a sombre mood at Arahuka village in Subukia Nakuru during the burial of a Jubilee supporter who was killed at Kasarani during President Uhuru Kenyatta swearing in.

The late George Ngigi was among hordes of President Uhuru Kenyatta's supporters ferried to Nairobi by Nakuru politicians.

Area MCA Peter Mbae, who condoled with the family, said Ngigi died after he was trampled on when a pandemonium broke out at the stadium.

Supporters who had been locked outside after the stadium was packed tried to force their way in when hell broke loose.

Droves of politicians, including Nakuru senator Susan Kihika, sent their condolences to the family of Ngigi.

Mbae said the presidency has promised to support the family of the deceased.
