Members of the Luo community living in Nakuru led by the Luo Progressive Group(LPG), have sent condolences to the family of the late senator Otieno Kajwang over the untimely death of the jubilant key leader from Luo Nyanza.
Led by the Chairman of the group Lawrence Onyango, the group in a condolence message they read to journalists in Nakuru on Saturday, the group observed that both the Luo community and the country as a whole had lost a dedicated and focused leader whose objectivity to brindg reforms in leadership and improve the lives of citizens will be missed.
Mark Onyango said that the late senator who was a key opposition leader and politician from Nyanza region was among those leaders who fought for reforms and the second liberation the fruits of which was the new constitution that had built democracy in the country.
He said as one of the key leaders in the Cord coalition and the Orange Democratic Movement party, his missing services and inspiration will be felt and missed indeed.
“We take this opportunity we as members of this group on behalf of the Lou community living in Nakuru to express our heartfelt condolences to the family, the opposition, the Lou community and the entire country for losing a great son, leader and inspiration,” said Onyango.
His leadership principles that were based on conformity for better service of society will be the missing link in the Lou community’s leadership and the country as a whole,” added the chairman.
