Paul Mwangangi, one of the drivers asked the county governor to visit them and experience the situation at the stage. Mwangangi further said that the gravels that were put on the stage twenty years ago have not been replaced despite the many potholes that are present now. He also said that the road heading to Railways is also full of large pot holes that needs to be renovated to make their work easier.

Alfred Owino who is also a driver in the area said that they are paying taxes and it is therefore their right to demand for a better working environment.

"We need to have a better place to work; we pay taxes and thus the government should do something about this stage," he said.
