A Nakuru MCA has been arraigned before a Nakuru court over assault.

Appearing before Nakuru Chief Magistrate Geoffrey Oduor , London Member of County Assembly Samuel Karanja Mbugua together with others not before court were charged with assaulting former MCA Francis Njogu.

The crime reportedly took place on November 17 2017.

The prosecution further accused the suspect of interfering the witnesses in the case.

The prosecution claimed the suspect has been making calls to various witnesses in the case.

Oduor directed that the suspect be released on a Sh20, 000 or a cash bail of Sh15, 000.

The case will be mentioned on February 20 2018.
