Addressing media in Nakuru on Wednesday during women politicians and media workshop, she said Independents who support UhuruRuto should be respected.

“The information that I would want to reach to the national party leaders is that though we lost in the primaries we have always been supporting UhuRuto and we opted for independent because of shambolic primaries so we should be respected too,” she said.

While calling on Jubilee top leadership to consider the Independents who support them, the incumbent Elburgon Mca was categorical that she was surprised to see them left out during the launch of Jubilee Manifesto in Nairobi on Monday.

While citing the recent visit by President Uhuru Kenyatta in Nakuru County, the MCA claimed it was wrong for the Party leader to hold a meeting with Jubilee Party nominees excluding those who lost in primaries.

“It pains a lot to see the party leader hold meeting in Nakuru Statehouse excluding some of us who support the UhuRuto and we are still incumbent even though we are vying as Independents,” she said.

This even as the Jubilee candidates in various counties still battle it out with those who opted to go independent way after what they term as shambolic party primaries.
