The MCAs, who include Agnes Salim of Marioshoni, Florence Wambui of Elburgon, Ngugi Muigai of Molo and Joseph Ngwaro of Kamara Wards have cited the issue of majority leadership that has been bedeviling the house as one of the issues they have differed with the speaker.

“The speaker has failed in her duty of bringing the house together; she is busy dividing it,” said Wambui.

“She should leave politics to us and do her work as the Speaker instead of interfering with us,” said Salim.

Ngugi said that the speaker is very biased, and she does not tolerate anyone who goes contrary to her opinion.

“If you are not a loyalist, you become her enemy and she hates independent minded people like me,” said Ngugi.

Ngwaro on his part termed her as being subjective rather than being objective.

“I have to stand for what my Kamara people want and cannot follow somebody blindly,” said Ngwaro.

The Speaker has however on different occasions rejected the accusations.

The MCAs were addressing journalists in Nakuru town on Friday.
