County Chairperson Keziah Ngina said that since inception of devolution, Nakuru County has enjoyed cordial working relationship between various leaders, and therefore it would be in order to allow divisions occur due to the stand off over majority leaders seat.

“Instead of fighting, these leaders should allow the law to take its course since the matter is still pending in court. I totally condemn this act of chaos that erupted in the Assembly on Thursday,” said Ngina.

Ngina added that the MCAs acted in total disregard of Assembly standing orders, and as such, the speaker should take action against those involved.

On women related issues, Ngina challenged women in Nakuru County to rise to the occasion and view for various posts once opportunities arise.

“Women should take advantage of the provisions made by the constitution to apply for job opportunities in county and National Governments so as to bridge existing gaps on leadership,” she added.
