Nakuru MCAs are hopeful that Governor Lee Kinyanjui will sign into law a bill they passed.

The Ward Development Bill requires the county's treasury to give 25% of its revenue to the wards.

This means 25% of all the money the county receives from the national government and its revenue.

Celebrating passing of the bill, MCAs said they will now have enough money for their areas.

"We are hoping our governor will sign this bill into law. This will allow us to have enough money for our projects," John Mwangi said.
