Just days after cases of armed robbery were reported in Kuresoi sub-county in Nakuru, threeMCAs from Kuresoi North have called on the government security agencies to crack down on those holding illegal weapons.

Led by Njuguna Gichamu of Nyota ward, Peter Mureu of Sirikwa ward and Ngware Ng'ang'a of Kamara ward, The MCAs said that a group of youths have been roaming the entire constituency attacking people .

“In a span of one week, two people have been shot with arrows in Kamuri and Sitoito villages thereby instilling fear among the locals”said Gichamu.

“We want to call upon the security agencies in this area to ensure they assist us in making sure there is enough security in Kuresoi” added Ngware.

While calling on communities living in Kuresoi North to maintain peace and co- existence, the leaders asked peace committees and elders to remain vigilant in order to ensure that anyone involved in acts of destabilizing peace is reported to security agencies.
