All is not well for the Nakuru County CEC in charge of Finance  Joseph Kiuna after more than 30 MCAs signed a petition seeking his ouster.

The MCAs claim that the CEC has failed in his mandate.

“The CEC has failed in his mandate. The only option we have been left with if Nakuru will see development is to impeach him,” said Jane Ngugi, the Gilgil MCA.

MCA Wahome Jambo Kenya of Kiamaina ward said residents of his ward have become frustrated.

“We have waited long enough. Feeder roads are in a mess. Local health facilities have been neglected due to lack of funds. Unfortunately, we must send the CEC home. He has completely failed as Finance CEC," he said.
