Nakuru county MCAs have passed a bill on allocation of more funds to wards to initiate projects.
The county allocation Bill 2014 will pave way for development in all the wards across the county.
The bill will now be forwarded to Governor Lee Kinyanjui to sign it into law.
Sh2.2 billion will be allocated to the 55 wards.
Each ward is expected to get between Sh20 and 30 million for development.
The county treasury has been tasked to manage the funds to ensure MCAs don’t misuse the money.
