A middle-aged woman on  Thursday committed suicide in Molo sub-county after her husband denied her the opportunity to go out and consume alcohol which was her hobby.

According to the police, the woman identified as Naomi Kemunto is said to have committed suicide after she allegedly consumed poison.

The husband is said to have rebuked her for being so much into the chang'aa drinking habit something that did not go well with Kemunto hence resulting to the quarrel.

According to neighbors, the deceased had the habit of coming home late while drunk. The body was taken to the mortuary for postmortem.
