Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri on Thursday publicly clashed with DUndori MCA Stephen Kihara.
Ngunjiri claimed the MCA has a group of supporters who go round tarnishing the MP's name.
Speaking in Dundori ward during a launch of a strategic plan for the Dundori Forest shamba system, the MP told the MCA, who was also present at the function, to stop tarnishing his name concerning CDF projects in Bahati constituency.
“MCA Kihara is like my son and I have mentored him, but now he has collected some individuals and going around saying I have not done this, I have not done this…no..no..no please let us respect each other. My CDF record is very clear,” said Ngunjiri.
“Just the same way President told the opposition, I would also like to tell you that leave alone my CDF. The residents are aware how far we have gone with the CDF in Bahati so let every leader play his part and when it comes to politics we will come back to hunt for votes,” said Kimani.
Meanwhile in an exclusive interview with the Dundori MCA Stephen Kihara over the same issue, he clarified that he had no personal grudge with Ngunjiri.
The MCA however vowed to continue advocating for the rights of the people of his ward without any fear or intimidation from any forces.
