Nakuru Town East MP David Gikaria wants a term limit be set for all leaders.
Speaking during a fundraiser at St. Simon and Jude Catholic church in Machini, which was attended by Deputy President William Ruto, the MP said elected leaders should serve under term limits to give a chance to new crop of leaders.
The MP added that he had taken a motion on the same to the National Assembly for parliamentary term limits.
“I had actually taken a motion to the National Assembly for Parliamentary term limits but it has never seen the light of the day. If we have term limits for the President and the Governor, we also need term limits for MPs and other elected leaders to give a chance to a new crop of leaders” Gikaria said.
