Residents of Ndabibit village in Nakuru county on Thursday caught a night runner who had been under police search for years.
The suspect's grandmother was dumbfounded when residents of Keringet ward in the same county bumped into her home when news circulated that her grandson had been caught naked doing his staff.
Residents said the man had been disturbing them during odd hours of the night for a good number of years.
“He came to my house and woke me up at 2a.m and kept telling me to follow him. I realized he was naked and called out for help and luckily my neighbours responded in good time,” one resident said.
Some residents said the man had been reported a number of times to the area chiefbut no action was taken. The man has since been asked to pay a fine of five cows to the village elders as punishment.
