Nurses in Nakuru county have vowed to continue with their strike until the government implements their Collective Bargaining Agreement.The union's officials spoke on Wednesday evening after a meeting  with nurses in the county.They said that they will not report back to work until a directive is issued by KNUN secretary general.The strike which started on June 5 has paralysed services at public hospitals across the country.KNUN Deputy Secretary Maurice Opeto said the strike will continue."All nurses should continue striking until the strike is called off by the national officials," said Opetu.Nakuru branch secretary Syphrine Odera said they will not go to work despite the county government's threat to sack them."We promise our support to national leaders and that we will not be threatened to return to work. Our strike continues with solidarity," Odera said.In September, Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui threatened to sack all striking nurses.
