Nakuru National Youth Service youth empowerment programme is slated to be unveiled on Thursday soon after the President Uhuru Kenyatta launches it in Kisii County, Samson Kiptum of Nakuru NYS Bondeni unit has confirmed.
“After taking a break for about five months, the NYS youth empowerment programme is back. The work in the NYS intervention areas is set to begin soon after the President launches it tomorrow in Kisii County. The launch will concurrently run in all the constituencies under NYS which will see all stakeholders involved.” Kiptum said.
In Nakuru Town East Constituency the launch will take place at the Bondeni Menengai Social Hall at 10am.
“The area MP David Gikaria will officially launch the programme now dubbed Youth Awakening Programme ,Mwamko Mpya,” added Kiptum.
