Recruitment of police officers in Nakuru County recorded more than 300 youth flocking the recruitment station.
Speaking today at JM Kariuki Primary School in Bahati Constituency Nakuru OCPD Bernard Kioko said that all incidences of irregularities would not condoned.
“So far there has been no incident of bribery or corruption being reported,” said Kioko.
The police recruitment is being conducted by officers in the ranks of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) and seeks to recruit 10,000 police officers, 6,000 for the regular police officers and 4,000 administration officers.
This year's recruitment is different from last year's recruitment where District Recruitment Committees chaired by District Commissioners were involved.
Kioko said that Nakuru County has been given 12 slots, 11 men and one lady.
He warned that anyone found soliciting or offering money would see stern action being taken against them.
Kioko added that the recruitment exercise would reflect the diversity of all Kenyans and in equitable proportions.
“All the recruitment seeks to have all inclusivity of all youth from all tribes. Parents will also be given time to monitor the exercise,” said Kioko.
