Nakuru ODM party officials and elected leaders have called on President Uhuru Kenyatta and NASA leader Raila Odinga to proceed with the move they have taken of uniting Kenya.
Addressing media in Nakuru on Wednesday led by ODM Nakuru county secretary Hilton Abiola, t he leaders welcomed the move taken by the two leaders terming it noble for the sake of a peaceful country.
They said the move will heal and reconcile the country.
The leaders called on ODM party branches countrywide to support party leader Raila Odinga and be ready to strengthen ODM at the grassroots.
“We the officials, elected leaders (MCAs) and members of ODM Party in Nakuru county fully support the party leader His Excellency Raila Amolo Odinga and His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta in their efforts to reconcile Kenyans. That is the only way to heal and reconcile the country that was divided” they said.
