Nakuru residents burst into celebrations after IEBC announced Uhuru Kenyatta the President-elect.
Kenyatta won the October 26 poll after garnering up to 7.4 million votes according to IEBC official results.
Jubilant supporters of President Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto sang pro-Jubilee songs in other counties including Nyeri which started celebrating as early as 1PM. Gatundu, Uhuru's constituency and several other areas in Kiambu also broke into jubilation.
Leaders hailed residents for turning up in large numbers during the repeat poll.
Nakuru is one of Jubilee's strongholds.
