KSSSA Secretary General David Ngugi, confirmed the AGM will be held at the Ministry of Education headquarters at Jogoo House towards the end of February.

Nakuru has been tentatively picked to host the games in early April in which the AGM is expected to ratify the dates.

The meeting also seeks to access the progress made in the last year in order to determine how activities will be carried out during this year’s games.

"We are coming together to see at how far we have come and to also propose dates and venues for the first term games," he said.

Mr Ngugi also added that the activities have already kicked off across the country at the district level and county events will follow.

Term One games feature basketball, heptathlon and cross country. The events must therefore be concluded by March at the regional level in order to pave way for national championship set for April.
