immediately arrest those behind torching of a section of the disputed New Elimu High School mid last month.
Ruth Wanjiru Shadrack has accused Police of taking too long to arrest those who set the school ablaze after a perimeter wall fell on two children killing one of them.
“I am not satisfied with how the investigating officers are handling this issue. Police should ‘leave no stone unturned’ in the course of unearthing the real truth,’’ said Wanjiru.
Wanjiru has further commended the local administration following recent raids conducted in Chang’aa dens in Nyamarutu Slums which boarders the school saying that the move will go a long way in curbing crime in the area.
She said that if not stopped, illicit brew business will lead to moral decay among the youth in the area, especially now that the school in near the said den.
Nyamarutu Village residents were on Saturday expected to hold a Baraza to discuss various issues affecting them top among them illicit brews menace.
During a raid conducted in Nyamurutu Village on Wednesday evening, four people were arrested by Police with Nakuru North OCPD Duncan Nguthu saying that Police will not relent in the fight against illicit brews and those involved.
