Led by Nakuru county police commander Hassan Barua, the officers drawn from both the Kenya regular police and the administration police said that they will hold the core values of integrity and servant leadership to the people of Kenya

“As public servants we must uphold core values such as integrity and servant leadership to Kenyans,” said Barua.

Speaking during the launch of the Mulika hongo app in Nakuru town, Barua said corruption is an enemy of development and that every Kenyan of goodwill must come out and fight the cancer.

He said that for Kenyans to be able to fight corruption they need to understand the true meaning of corruption.

Barua said sensitization workshops are critical in the fight against corruption and urged Kenyans to be willing to report any cases of corruption they encounter while seeking services from police officers and public servants.

The police boss called on police officers and anti-corruption officials receiving information about corruption to act upon and protect the whistle blowers.
