Nakuru residents have expressed their joy following the appointment of former Governor Kinuthia Mbugua as State House Comptroller.According to locals who spoke to the Star in Molo town on Friday , thanked President Uhuru Kenyatta for bringing back Kinuthia saying he has a good track record.

The locals said that former Governor played a key role in uniting communities living in Nakuru when he was DC.They lauded the former governor for resettling many families, most of whom were victims of ethnic clashes in Kuresoi.

Kinuthia lost to Lee Kinyajui in jubilee party primaries last year and chose to vie as an independent candidate but was asked by Uhuru to step down.
