Most people are unwilling to sell their land for a cemetery due to cultural believes.

“We have hit a dead end, despite the county government setting side Sh40 million in this financial year for the purchase of suitable land,” Nakuru Public Health officer Samuel King’ori said.

Naivasha and Nakuru North cemeteries are full.

Longonot, Gilgil, Njoro and Kampi ya Moto cemeteries still have a little space left.
