A primary school in Nakuru is on the spot after parents complained that there are mysterious deaths of pupils occurring in the school.
Parents, who asked for anonymity, told this writer their pupils have told them of a teacher who belongs to a cult.
"The school is eating its own pupils. Our children have told us of a teacher who is a devil worshipper," a parent said.
Nakuru County CeC member in charge of Education Raymond Komen said they are aware of the claims and a meeting has been scheduled to iron out issues.
"The County and National Government education departments have initiated investigations into concerns raised about Mirugi Kariuki Primary School in Nakuru East.The Education officials will be meeting the school's board of management together with parents to establish the truth of the situation," Komen said.
He asked the public to remain calm as investigations are carried out.
"A preliminary finding last week showed that two pupils from the school had died. The public is urged to be patient pending investigations into the matter," he added.
